Krakow Montessori School

The Krakow Montessori School is a place where education becomes a path to independence, responsibility, and the joy of discovering the world.
Our mission is to support children in developing their natural talents, curiosity, and intrinsic motivation to learn.

Today, our school and preschool community consists of just under 150 children.

Both our preschool and later our school were born out of a desire to create a place where children can be treated with respect and as individuals — in an atmosphere of partnership. A place where they can follow their natural curiosity, develop skills aligned with their sensitive periods, and be guided by adults who actively support their growth, inspire a love for the world around them, and do so without imposing their own will.

At the end of the 2015/16 school year, when our 6-year-old students were once again leaving the walls of our kindergarten choosing traditional institutions, due to the great deficit of schools with a Montessori profile, we decided to establish the Krakowska Szkoła Montessori in Bronowice, Krakow.

The school was to be established on September 1, 2016 and in the first year it started with only 12 children. The following year the number tripled, so that today, unfortunately, every year there is a shortage of places for the children who are recruiting.

Our community today has about 150 families who hold our method of work, the Maria Montessori method, close to their hearts.
