Mixed age groups

Each of our classes has children from at least three different age groups. All children learn together, in one space. Their teachers are the materials on the shelves, and their guides are educated educators. 

Montessori pedagogy uses the natural potential of mixed-age groups, providing excellent conditions for children's social development, while bringing educational benefits.

Children build various, lasting relationships and friendships, experience their first conflicts, which they learn to resolve in a natural, safe way. Thanks to this, the teacher can stop the manifestations of unhealthy competition at the source. 

 

In our classes, younger children observe their older friends, trying to imitate them, and they can always count on their help.

This strengthens children's sense of security and acceptance.

Older children, being a role models, learn responsibility and care, but also often consolidate their knowledge by helping them.
