“The greatest sign of success for a teacher is to be able to say: 'The children are now working as if I did not exist.”
Maria Montessori

The role and tasks of the teacher in the Montessori classroom
- careful observation of the child, his needs, abilities and talents,
- recognize Montessori sensitive periods in a child,
- help the child in development: intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and social,
- help in developing independence,
- provide individualization of the child's academic and educational process,
- create well prepared environment that will allow children not only to learn, but also to think logically and critically,
- support the child's value of respect for himself, for others and for the whole world
The teacher is a Guide who, above all, approaches the child with love and full respect and follows the Montessori quote “help me do it myself”.
